Weather
With highs in the 70s and lows around 56 degrees F, you are in for a treat in February. Florida is known for its hot summer weather, but during BMTC20, you will be able to enjoy outdoor activities without the 3rd-degree sunburn and sweaty shirt. February is the perfect beach, suntan, brewery hopping, and hiking weather.
Craft Breweries: Featured Brews
This guide would be incomplete without the must-hit craft breweries in St. Petersburg. Florida breweries are known to cast a fruity-spin on some beer classics. Enjoy a Grapefruit IPA at If I Brewed the World Brewery or a Blueberry Wheat Ale at Sea Dog Brew Pub. While you will taste plenty of outstanding beers at the BMTC20, here is a list of breweries to hit before or after the conference:
Beaches
A beercation to Florida isn’t complete without a trip to the beach. A short 20 minute ride away from our host hotel is TripAdvisor’s No. 4 beach in the U.S. in 2019, St. Pete Beach. “St. Pete Beach’s shores include the longest undeveloped stretch of public beach in the St. Pete/Clearwater area at Pass-a-Grille Beach. Live it up with a variety of watersports, from parasailing and stand-up paddleboarding to windsurfing and kiteboarding,” says Visit St. Pete/ Clearwater.
Looking to hit TripAdvisor’s No. 1 beach in the U.S. in 2019? You’re in luck because Clearwater Beach is located just North of St. Pete and provides the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a long conference day.
