Richmond, Virginia
Nearly 40 craft breweries make up the Richmond Beer Trail. Local breweries like Hardywood, Triple Crossing, Strangeways and the Veil are racking up awards and fans nationwide. Stone Brewing Co. Richmond opened its doors in 2016. Richmond has breweries on farms (Lickinghole Creek), with beer gardens (Center of the Universe), and on the strip in Carytown (Garden Grove).
Richmond is one of The New York Times’ 52 Places to Go in 2020 and VinePair named it THE World’s Top Beer Destination in 2018.
Host Hotel
Our host hotel is the Omni Hotel Richmond (100 S 12th St, Richmond, VA 23219, 804-344-7000), located in the heart of the city. The recently refurbished guest rooms all have a view of the city or the St. James River. We have a room rate of $159, which is a good deal for this centrally-located, four-star hotel. With five breweries within walking distance, you’ll have plenty of options for your free time. Our room block link will be posted here soon.
Getting There
The Omni is located eight miles from Richmond International Airport, with direct routes to 22 cities including Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, and other major hubs. Since you will not need a car during the conference, we suggest using Uber or Lyft to get from the airport to the hotel.
